Make your Still Life any size you like .... Any color you like. I will show you how to free yourself of design and composition worries. In this class you will learn to make perfect points, corners, and deep in side "V's" using the freezer paper inside method. Plus you will learn how to frame your quilted art, for a more professional look. |

Linda P. Cantrell 199 Running Briar Rd. Fletcher, NC Linda Cantrell started quilting as a hobby in 1980. She never dreamed that she would be teaching quilting coast to coast as she does today. Linda was a painter before she started quilting. She made her first quilt in 1980, and before long she was thinking of pictorial quilts. Applique was a natural choice with fabrics and embroidery thread becoming her paints and brushes. She is self-taught in applique and quilting. and her specialty is humors pictorial applique. Her award winning quilts have exhibited nationally, including the AQS, IQAS, NQAS, Quilters Heritage Show, Silver Dollar City Quilt Show, Quilt America!, Dollywood Quilt show, Silver Dollar City, Indiana Heritage Show, The David and Peter Mancuso Shows and many other national quilt shows. She has works in private collections as well as, the Governor's Western Residence, Duke University, Southern Highlands Craft Guild and Winston Salem and Duke Hospitals. Her work also has been published in many magazines and books. Creating quilts of her own designs is her specialty with my time spent quilting, teaching quilting or thinking about the next one . The cost for the workshop is $35. The workshop starts at 9:00am and runs until 4:00 pm (bring a bag lunch) and will be held at the Lutheran Church.
