The primary purpose of this web site is to provide members of the Foothills Quilters Guild with up to date information about their guild. A secondary purpose is to let non members, interested in quilting, know what is happening in our guild. The design goal of this site is to provide a site that is easy to navigate with less flash, and more sizzle.

In addition to information about the guild, this site contains links to web sites external to this site. Some of these links may go to commercial web sites. Except for the links on our sponsors web page, there is no intent on the part of the FQG to represent any of the external links as being endorsed by the FQG. External links are provided merely as a possible aid to help visitors find some more, useful information.

It is a fact of life, that given any situation, some people will try to take advantage of that situation to enhance their own self interest to the detriment of the rest of us. On the web, one such example is spam email. Just as search engines like Google search the web for information, thus providing a valuable service to all , spammers search for personal information like email addresses. Until we can create secure email addresses on our web pages, we are minimizing the publication of email addresses on our web site.
